WHAT IS SCAVENGING GAS SERVICING?
This refers to routine maintenance servicing which is carried out to ensure that your equipment is safe to use. Without checks, there could be risks of failure, breakdowns or even breaches of health and safety. The RCVS Accreditation (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) requires clear evidence that your equipment is maintained, which is why it is important for this to be pre-planned.
As a cost-effective solution, our servicing ensures that your equipment is safe to use. We carry out cleaning, inspecting, rectifying, adjusting, testing and calibration using high-tech equipment. The only piece of equipment which is treated differently is Vaporisers. Instead, a visual inspection will be done followed by a test on the output.
On occasions, we are able to service scalers and autoclaves as well as other dental machines. However, this depends on the make.
ESTIMATED COSTS
The cost of scavenging gas servicing will depend on the products being assessed. A small animal practice with AGSS, two G/A machines (including vaporisers), and piped oxygen would cost £295.00 + VAT.
If we are carrying out work at multiple practices or groups, then we can offer a discount fee. Any price quoted does not include the costs of replacement parts that may be needed for your equipment.
