When You Have Oxygen Concentrators For Veterinary Practises, Scheduled Routine Service Is Needed. Routine Services Should Restore The Condition Of Your Oxygen Concentrators, Also Improving Safety. For The Best Possible Functionality, Servicing Is Always Essential.

Coltronics Systems Ltd provide a comprehensive service for our clients. Supplying, installing and servicing all oxygen concentrators you can depend on our team. You can have scheduled routine service whenever you require.

Benefits Of Scheduled Routine Service

After installing veterinary equipment and oxygen concentrators, maintenance and servicing may not be your top priority. However, having a scheduled routine service can be extremely beneficial in several ways. For you to retain the best quality, efficiency and overall performance, servicing should be in consideration. Just some of the benefits of servicing include:

  • Compliance With RCVS Accreditation Requirements
  • Keep Equipment In Peak Condition
  • Optimal Safety For Operators
  • Prevent Unplanned Equipment Failure

Without regular servicing, although your equipment should remain in good condition, its performance could drop. To keep your equipment in peak condition, prevent failures and maintain safety of the highest level, servicing is vital. Having regular servicing will prevent any problems with the equipment whilst reducing the chances of needing repairs and replacements. To meet all health and safety requirements and industry-standard, our servicing offers the perfect solution.

How Often Should I Service?

Annual servicing is usually the best option for a range of veterinary equipment. We would recommend this for most G/A machines, AGSS and veterinary medical gas systems. Unlike other equipment, you should service oxygen concentrators on runtime hours, meaning they do not always fall in line with calendar service schedules.

By having regular or annual servicing, the RCVS will accept proof of servicing so accreditation requirements are met. If you are unsure what performance or condition your concentrators are in, you can contact our team for advice. We make sure oxygen concentrators always deliver the best performance and servicing is available to restore their condition when necessary.

Areas We Cover

Equipment & Vaporises

As previously mentioned, scheduled routine services are available for any G/A machines, AGSS, veterinary medical gas systems and oxygen concentrators when required. Spare parts are also available so during servicing, replacement parts are available to restore their condition.

Unfortunately, vaporisers are not available for servicing as to clean them, they must be stripped down. Despite this, vaporisers can still be repaired or replaced if they no longer offer the performance you expect from them. To identify and monitor the calibration of vaporisers, we use high accuracy Infra-Red Refractometers. If vaporisers fail, factory reconditioned units will be used for replacement.

Autoclaves and X-ray machines are not available for servicing as they are a specialist skill and equipment. Despite this, we have fantastic relations with providers to deliver servicing of all equipment on the same day.

Cost Of Servicing

Despite it begin integral for all veterinary equipment, you might want to save money instead. However, the cost of servicing will maintain the performance and effectiveness of equipment whilst also improving durability and lifespan so repairs and replacements are unlikely in the future.

For a typical small animal practice, the cost would be £325.00 + VAT for the service, testing and certification of:

  • 2 G/A Machines
  • AGSS
  • Piped Oxygen
  • Vaporisers

This would also include any servicing of consumables but not manufacturers replacement parts. For additional servicing, engineers will quote you on the day after approving additional equipment, such as the manufacturers’ replacement parts.

When you require service, there should always be a competitive price available for both small and large practices with equipment on site. Additionally, practices who are in groups or have multiple branches receive special terms for the number of practices involved.
